We take our ingredients on a journey. No choice: there are no French equivalents yet for certain super special ingredients that we choose for their flavors and their particular properties.
Like this famous date paste, which plays the role of “matrix” in our bars. Yes, it looks serious, but that's just to say that it's sweet and fibrous, a kind of delicious super glue that binds everything together! Its neutral taste allows the flavor of the other ingredients to be fully expressed.
We prefer sustainable and fair-trade sectors to make local producers shine. Cocoa products come from a Peruvian solidarity cooperative ( SALDAC ).
Our ingredients are transported to France by sea and land in order to reduce the CO2 impact… Air transport is therefore prohibited.
Our products are guaranteed gluten-free thanks to our AFDIAG certification (French Association of Gluten Intolerants) recognizable by its “crossed ear” logo. It allows people sensitive to gluten to easily recognize us. Your confidence and security during your purchases are among our priorities!

The brand was created around the concept of healthy indulgence (hence the name Gourmiz') and today we still maintain this line of conduct with the principle of the "clean label". Our food approach is simple and authentic, in response to the growing expectations of consumers who want to eat in a natural and healthy way.
Clean Label is based on several principles including the reduction of additives and the number of total ingredients. It is based on maximum use of raw and natural ingredients and avoids additives and processed raw materials. All these actions allow greater clarity and transparency on labeling for the consumer. Why make it complicated when it can be simple?
At Gourmiz', we follow the principles of Clean Label by trying to reduce the number of ingredients as much as possible; no more than 7 per recipe. We exclude all chemical additives, colorings or preservatives. We only use natural, guaranteed organic and vegan ingredients.

The manufacturing process
From the choice of ingredients to the manufacturing process,
everything is simple!
1. Cutting the date leg and weighing the ingredients
2. Mixing everything in the blender
3. Forming bars in a rotary molder
4. Dehydration
