Guillaume Tiphène, a name that is starting to resonate in trailrunning and road running circles. This young man from Toulouse has already carved out an impressive path in the world of running. Between his promising career in medicine and his remarkable performances on mountain trails and paved roads, Guillaume embodies passion, determination and the balance between sport and profession.
Passion for sport has always been an integral part of Guillaume's life. From a young age, he put on crampons to play football, then discovered cross country thanks to the UNSS. A spark was ignited in him, and victories quickly followed, including a title of French university cross country champion. His versatility also led him to shine on the track, accumulating regional titles and remarkable performances in the 800m and 2000m steeplechase.
Guillaume, however, put his sporting career on hold for six years to devote himself fully to his studies. A decision which demonstrates his determination to build a solid foundation for his professional future.
After this break, Guillaume found his way back to running. Trailrunning, a discipline that combines his passion for the mountains and his quest for sporting performance, has become an obvious choice. His love for the mountains, cultivated since his childhood, found its echo in trail running.
